Susan Holtz, MS, LCMHCS


Susan Holtz is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) (#S10573) through the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors. Susan earned her Master of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.
Susan offers several years of mental health experience (one to one mental health counseling and intensive in-home therapy) working providing group therapy, family counseling, and individual outpatient therapy. Populations include children, adolescents, adults, family and couples. She has worked in a variety of settings including homes, schools, and in private practice setting. Susan specializes in clients manage severe mental health symptoms such as depression, trauma, anxiety, impulsivity, defiance, anger/aggression, social/relationship problems, communication problems, mood disturbances, self-esteem and trauma.
She has an orientation consisting of both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Client Centered Therapy.
Susan believes in a strong, genuine therapeutic alliance between client and therapist and is committed to helping the individual or couple overcome their struggles and issues.
